EU-SAGE
EU-SAGE is a network representing plant scientists from 134 European institutes and societies, united to provide information about genome editing and advocate for policies that enable its use in sustainable agriculture and food production. Their objectives include representing European scientists on genome editing, advocating its potential for agriculture, and facilitating science-based policymaking. The network emphasizes that regulating genome-edited organisms as GMOs has negative consequences for agriculture, society, and the economy. To facilitate a more comprehensive understanding of the use of genome editing, EU-SAGE developed an interactive, publicly accessible online database of genome-edited crop plants as described in peer-reviewed scientific publications.
